On Hopefully Never Giving Up

Maybe it's subtle, and really, non-commanding.  But I feel it like the way I feel the heat of the sun.  Like the way my heart dropped when my ice cream fell to the ground.  Like everything I ever did meant nothing (someone just tell me if it is).  I'd like to fight, to stay in the battle.

But I need you backing me up.  (And maybe I've never had the guts to say this out loud, and maybe I never will)
