Cebu Day II

At around 2pm, we arrived the city fresh from whaleshark watching, Tumalog Falls trekking, and the winding road between Oslob and Cebu City.  To make the most out of our overnight in the province, we forged onward with our itinerary!

Looking for the perfect hotel at the last minute was quite a hassle.  All the nice beach-side resorts were fully-booked!  We decided to stay in the city instead.  We took a deal from Agoda and decided to stay at the Crown Regency Hotel - Fuente.   It turned out to be the perfect hotel for our sudden short stay because the hotel is jam-packed with activities!

Their complex had a shooting range.  It was my first time!  The recoil wasn't as hard as I thought it would be, but the BANG was definitely louder.  I think I did okay, I mean I think the man would have been pretty dead.   My FPS experience paid off?

A few blocks from our hotel is Larsians, an open barbecue sort of place where you could pick from a number of stalls.  They have various streetfood from isaw, to pork barbecue, Cebu chorizo and siomai.

And as if we didn't just eat, we headed straight for Zubuchon as per Anthony Bourdain's recommendation.

We ordered a big plate of heart attack -- not the usual blend of spices we're used to in lechon.  But still, absolutely yummy!  It was imperative to buy kamias shake to balance the oiliness.  I kind of felt like a hobbit, having two dinners and all.

After Zubuchon, we were all finally satiated enough.  We went back to our hotel and played mini golf (which I apparently suck at, and in which our Dad rules us all).

We spent out last day basically touring around the city. Unfortunately, most establishments were closed because it was a holiday. :(
